You've written your masterpiece, had your say, put in your two cents...now what? Ah, editing. So, why shouldn't you edit your work yourself? Some writers do. But it's also a matter of literary fact that one can be 'too close' to one’s own work to be able to edit properly, because you 'see' what should be there, not what really is there. That's why another set of eyes is crucial to putting the fine edge on your work that allows it to step out from mere writing to a fabulous piece of art.

National Novel Writing Month
Well, I'm a new Nano this year, and I have to say that this is the best thing ever! Life is a wonderful thing, but I have to admit to a certain amount of fantasy world living. But because I love my new husband and my daughter, I have to take care of them, and me so that I can take care of them, (guilty of neglecting myself when writing) I don't write as much as I would like. However, this month has been an absolute spree of writing and I'm loving every moment of it! It has led me to the determination that I am just going to have to make the time for my writing. Just like exercise...only the opposite because I'm sitting. Speaking of exercise...lol.
